Err

Are you serious ?!

It is quite well known that : with the arrival of the euro, the price of everything has soared!

... except for Midi files : 20 years ago, in 1990, the average cost of a Midi file used to be 60 French francs, that is 9 euros !
(regardless of the fees charged for downloading the file on the Minitel – an ancestor of the Internet..).

Please respect others' work and respect yourself :

- buy your midi files!
- keep them to yourself!

You do buy Midi files? Then you are making the right choice!

A high-quality Midi file implies working for 1 or 2 days. When you pay 5 to 12 euros for one of these files on this site, it is already a gift.

It does take some experience to make a professional Midi arrangement. This is not a hobby but a profession that requires high qualifications. Therefore, it seems utterly normal to earn something in exchange. Would YOU accept to work for free, or to witness the theft of your work and to see the fruits of your labour robbed of all their value?

Don't give nor share any file ! In doing so you would shoot yourself in the foot: your file will have no value whatsoever within 2 weeks, and you will also discourage those who make Midi files from doing this job.

The lack of thinking if not the greatest foolishness of those who give and share files has caused irreversible damage to Midi file makers.
Say, the two French major producers of the 90's are now extinct.

Think twice: a Midi file doesn't come from a multinational corporation that makes millions of dollars. It is the work of a craftsman who helps you enjoy your passion. He needs you and you need him. Then, why not team up to serve both your interests ?

Your friends like the quality of the Midi files you've bought here? Don't pay any attention to worthless arguments, and start having doubts when an acquaintance of yours goes 'Come on, give it to me. You can trust me, I'll keep it to myself...'

Instead, give them the link of the site, there by behaving with the utmost integrity. It'll eventually be nothing less than a win-win situation for you.

Things i CAN do with my Midi file :

  • Use the file with every Midi software and hardware, sequencer, or electronic instrument that works with the Midi file format.
  • Modify the file and use it for your own (re)creations.
  • Make backup copies for personal use.

Things i CAN'T do with my Midi file :
  • Sell the file
  • Sell tie-in products or services whose key element is the file itself (e.g. karaoke files, MP3 files...)
  • Distribute copies of the file to other people or any other organisations (websites...).

Thank you for your time.
